How HDPE geocell works
A geocell is a three-dimensional honeycomb of welded HDPE strips that expands on site into a cellular confinement grid. Filled with soil, sand, gravel or concrete, the HDPE geocell confines the infill and spreads load, turning weak ground into a stable platform. Textured, perforated cell walls add friction and let water pass, which is why geocell slope protection and geocell driveway bases outperform loose fill on steep or soft ground.
Where geocell and gravel grid are used
Use HDPE geocell for slope protection, retaining structures, load support under access roads and channel and embankment lining; a textured, perforated grid grips infill best on steep slopes.
