High-strength geotextile for Myanmar

We exported two 40 ft containers of polypropylene geotextile to Myanmar. The buyer had approached many manufacturers first, because most could not produce the heavy weight required — only a few mills can. After visiting our factory, the customer placed the order.

Capacity and precision

Our high-speed lines produce strong geotextiles across a wide weight range, and our weighing and feeding system is computer-controlled for precise, consistent grammage. That control is what allows us to make the heavy-weight polypropylene geotextiles many other mills cannot.

A demanding project specification

The end user is a large multinational investing in Myanmar in cooperation with the government. The project called for strong, high-grade geotextile with high tensile strength. Each roll is tested to ensure the required tensile strength and elongation are achieved.

Packaging and reliability

The geotextile was supplied with anti-UV treatment, an inner waterproof membrane and a double-layer black woven outer wrap so the rolls are not damaged during the customer's loading and unloading. Polypropylene geotextile is valued for its UV resistance and acid / alkali resistance. Despite raw-material price movement, we honoured the contract agreed earlier and held quality throughout.
